The great poet kalidas 

  • Kalidas one of the greatest  poet of Sanskrit literature. He wrote plays, epics and lyrical poetry. He is compared to the great poet, playwriter shakespear.
There is a legend that Kalidas was a very foolish. 
All this is a lie, Kalidas became a great poet by his intelligence.

His famous title is Deepshikha.
     Kalidas has seven works
. Drama book

.Abhigyanasakuntalam  
  • It has seven numbers. The fourth issue of this drama is the most famous. There is no drama like this drama in the world. Shakuntala's father Kanva's departure from the house is the most compassionate disconnection scene in the fourth issue. Shakuntala is going to her husband King Dushyant's house. Animals, birds also block the path of Shakuntala. The plants wither away.
         
  2. Vikramorvashiyam
  •  It is divided into five digits. It describes the pranay tale of Apsara named Raja Pururava and Urvashi

      3. Malavikagnimitram
  • It describes the love and marriage of Malavika and Agnimitra in five digits. Malavika is the sister of Vidarbharaj's son Madhavsen.

1. Raghuvansh

  • It describes the lives of 31 kings from Manu to Suryavanshi. In these, there is a detailed and detailed description of the lives of Raghu, Aj, Dasharatha and Rama. 
      
          2. Kumarasambhava
  •  In this epic, Parvati, the daughter of the Himalayas, describes the origin of Kartikeya as a result of severe penance and received Shiva as a groom.

  1. Ritusanghaar
  • It is Kalidasa's late stage work. It has six cantos and 144 verses. In these 6 cantos, 6 Ritu are described respectively. Their order is - Grishm, Varsha, Sharad, Hemant, Shishir and Vasant. This is the only book in Sanskrit literature, which describes 6 Ritu in full detail
     2. Meghdoot
  • Meghdoot is an adult and sophisticated work of Kalidasa. It shows the harmony of the poet's adult imagination, lofty spirit, refined style and comical poetry. It is a captivating passage of the imagination of the poet, so all the saints of the world have praised him liberally. It is the bright ruby ​​of lyricism.
